What do you do when the world says you have cancer and you are going to die?

I recommend you get a second opinion, and I am not talking about another doctor, even though that is a good idea. I am talking about God, our Jehovah Rapha. Seek Him and find out what He has to say about your situation. Fortunately I was already a born again believer and had some understanding on how to hear Gods voice. An excellent teacher on how to hear God’s voice is Mark Virkler, at Communion with God Ministries. He has books, audio, and video teachings on the 4 Keys to Hearing God’s Voice. His step by step instructions will simplify and enhance your ability to know and recognize God’s voice. By listening and hearing as Mark Virkler taught me, God gave me very detailed instructions on how I was to handle the situation that I found myself in throughout my long healing journey and He is still leading me today.

I knew God could heal me and that it was His will to heal me. I just didn’t know how to receive it. God is faithful, and He led my wife and I step by step through this diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer. Now over two and a half years later, I can honestly say that I am a living, breathing, walking, talking testimony of the goodness of God. Not by my works or good deeds, but by the Grace of God. I received my healing by faith, and you can too. God is no respecter of persons, He wants us all well. 2 Peter 3:9 says “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” This long suffering applies to us for healing also. God’s desire and will is for all of us to be saved spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially. Unfortunately God’s will isn’t being done here on earth as it is in heaven. John 3:17 says “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” The Greek word used for saved is sozo, which means to save, to deliver, to protect, to heal, to preserve, to do well, and to be made whole. All things are possible to him who believes. Check out our future blogs and see how the Lord guided us through this process. For God took something that the enemy meant for evil and turned it in to something good.
